Apple iPhone Information

picture of the new apple iphone the iPhone combines three necessary products in today's world. The iPhone combines a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching into one small and lightweight handheld device. iPhone and Cinular also introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting you control everything with just your fingers. The iPhone ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, completely redefining what you can do on a mobile phone. Wireless service is provided by Cingular

The iPhone offers a wonderful iPod device. The iPhone is a widescreen iPod with touch controls that lets you enjoy all your content, including music, books, videos, TV shows, and movies, on a 3.5-inch widescreen display. It also lets you sync your content from the iTunes library on your PC or Mac. And then you can access it all with just the touch of a finger.

The iPhone is a revolutionary new mobile phone that allows you to make a call by pointing your finger at a name or number in your address book, a favorites list, or a call log. It also automatically syncs all your contacts from a PC, Mac, or Internet service. And it lets you select and listen to voicemail messages in whatever order you want ? just like email. The iPhone features a rich HTML email client and Safari, the most advanced web browser ever on a portable device ? which automatically syncs bookmarks from your PC or Mac. Safari also includes built-in Google and Yahoo! search. iPhone is fully multi-tasking, so you can read a web page while downloading your email in the background.

The iPhone is controlled by revolutionary technology - no flimsey stylus. The iPhone is controlled by a touch pad. Just point to what you want and the iPhone delivers. It even has technology that ignores mistake strokes and corrects mistakes as you go. Who needs a Blackberry or a Blackberry Pearl or a Treo 750? The new iPhone is everything you need with great wireless service from Cingulair. Ciongular is now AT&T. AT&T Wireless has the exclusive rights in the US to the iPhone which will give them the opportunity to steal millions of wireless customers over the next five years.

The iPhone went on sale at TheMacStore on June 29th, 2007 and there was plenty of anticipation with Mac fans waiting outside stores days ahead of the launch date. The phones retailed for $599 dollars but people are currently paying as much as $1000 on ebay for an iphone. Apparently, it is worth the extra $400 just not to stand in line. The i-Phone rollout is the most successful new product launch ever and so far it is living up to its hype. Lines have been reported to be 1000 people deep. Lines are longer than stores have phones. The Mac Store is letting in shoppers in groups of 10 to minimize the hysteria and protect shoppers. It was widely anticipated that at least one shopper would be killed in the push to get the hot new ipohne. The ipohne, will cool is simply not worth that.

The widescreen is amazing and the technology is revolutionary - you can't live without it - check out Apple's iPhone today.

The iPhone will ONLY work with ATT (previously Cingular Wireless). ATT has an exclusive agreement with Apple for the iPhone.

The story, as I understand it, goes - when Apple was pitching the iPhone they wanted to be 100% in control of the design. In years past, the wireless provider always dictated the specs for new wireless phones (i.e.: the Motorola Razr, the Sidekick, etc). However, Apple wanted no part of that! I understand that Apple pitched their proposal to multiple wireless providers and all but ATT said that they must be involved in the design process. However, Apple wanted no part of having an outside company tell them how to design something; and rightfully so as they have been very successful in designing electronics.

Ultimately, ATT was the only company which agreed to allow Apple to fully design a cellphone without a single bit of input or even a review process. Thus, Apple signed an exclusive with ATT.

The other providers should have been more open-minded.
